Your HVAC system stops fighting to cool air through 140-degree ductwork and starts operating in a space much closer to your living temperature.

Attic insulation removal and cleanup
Old insulation doesn't last forever. Fiberglass that has been wet, compressed by foot traffic, or contaminated by rodents has lost most of its effective R-value. Before adding new insulation on top of compromised material, the old insulation needs to come out.
